I had to cancel my cyberlink subscription, i was ready for it to be some annoying process because that’s usually how these things go. But it really wasn’t. I found the cancel option in my account, went through it, and got the confirmation email not long after. No runaround, no endless questions, no waiting forever. Say what you want, but I do appreciate when a company doesn’t make you fight just to cancel something

My subscription renewed and it was straightforward. The billing email was clear, I checked my account, and everything looked fine. I usually get annoyed by renewals showing up out of nowhere, but this one was smooth and there weren’t any weird extra charges, so I can’t really complain.

Cyberlink has been fine for basic video editing, especially if you’re working with common stuff like MP4 files. I can see why a lot of casual users would be happy with it for quick projects. My issue was with some clips from my camera that it didn’t handle smoothly, so I had to convert them first, which got old fast. Compared to other editors people seem to use without much prep work, this felt a little less convenient. Overall, it’s not bad, but I do wish the file compatibility was more reliable.

cyberlink is mostly easy to use, and I don’t think it deserves some of the complaints it gets. Yeah, a few of the menus were a little confusing at first, but after clicking around for a bit, I found what I needed. It’s not perfect, sure, and some parts could definitely be simpler, but overall I had a decent experience with it.

The audio tools seem to work well overall, at least for basic stuff. The noise cleanup is a bit hit or miss for me though, sometimes it helps, but other times it doesn’t clean things up as much as I’d hoped.

PowerDirector runs fine on my laptop for the most part, but the second I add a few effects or start messing with 4K clips, it suddenly needs a little nap. Rendering is weird too, sometimes it’s surprisingly fast, and other times it just sits there like it’s contemplating life. The tools are decent for basic edits, so I can’t complain too much, but it’s definitely not always smooth. I also had it crash once after an update, which was a fun little surprise. Overall, not terrible, but yeah, a bit more stability would be nice.

I tried it on both my laptop and tablet, i didn’t run into any issues. Everything worked the way it should, which is great because I really don’t have the patience to mess around with glitches or troubleshooting.

The templates look really nice, and there are a bunch of cool effects to play around with. it makes putting stuff together way easier and looks clean too. Good stuff.

The install ended up taking way longer than I expected. I kept thinking it would be done any minute, but I was basically stuck there waiting with nothing else I could really do. Frustrating experience overall.
